Annapurna Shakti Yoga
Anna means “food” in Sanskrit and purna means “filled completely”. Here we can mean nourishing food which sustains healthy living, a gift from Mother Nature, or symbolically she is the aspect of the Divine Mother which gives the energy to achieve knowledge and enlightenment. Both are important. Annapurna symbolizes the Divine aspect nourishing humanity with tender loving care. Shakti means “power”. We need Shakti to carry out our duty in life. Shakti must be controlled from a place of purity so that the Ego is kept in check and used as a tool.
Annapurna Shakti Yoga is dedicated to sharing the Knowledge of Kundalini Tantra Yoga, founded by Guru Sri Jaya Shakti in Bali, Indonesia. This special yogic teaching facilitates access to the type of energy which supports enlightened consciousness, dynamically shifting energy, and releasing blocks caused by negative emotions which impede health & growth. The Kundalini Tantric knowledge from this lineage of Guru is limitless in its ability to bring us to our True, pure selves. In this way, the “food” we are receiving is the knowledge from within ourselves. This form of yoga releases the blocks, cleansing the chakras which hold the sacred knowledge we need to know ourselves. This Yoga Master has dedicated his life to this work, guiding the student to the highest attainable levels able to be achieved in yoga. We are grateful such Masters exist and give thanks for their dedication to the evolution of humanity.
We at Annapurna Shakti Yoga feel very blessed to be able to share this yoga knowledge which connects the practitioner with an experience of the Divinity within all, the True Self. It is through our own attainment of enlightenment that we reach Unification with spirit, perfecting ourselves as true human beings. We believe it is this very experience which leads to more peace in the world.
Andrea founded Annapurna Shakti Yoga with blessings from her Guru, that others may also receive the transformative blessing that flow from Grace.
